Super friendly staff who couldnt do enough for you. Really comfy beds, breakfast range was huge and tasty and all drinks were included in the evenings. an all round fantastic experience staying at the bank mansions hotel and so central to all the museums and sights - would thoroughly recommend

This small boutique hotel has a very warm, welcoming family feel. The Art Deco style and the reception staff are outstanding! Fantastic breakfast and unlimited bar service. A cheese and appetizer service is available daily. Would go back in an instant!

Loved this hotel. Well located for local restaurants, staff so helpful and the inclusive aspect made such a difference to the experience. Chilling out in the lounge with some free drinks was so much nicer than trying to find a decent bar at the end of the night. First place I'd look next time in Amsterdam.

This is my third trip to Amsterdam, and first time staying at this hotel. I made the mistake of booking a hotel that is not part of a US chain such as Marriott, which is where I usually stay. The difference in the level of professionalism between the staff of a US-based company compared to a local brand was evident the moment I needed assistance beyond check in and check out. Although even the check-in process did not go smoothly, and we had to return from our room to the front desk twice to get working keys. The night before our trip back to the US my son managed to lock the safe with a random code after he unlocked it to retrieve one of his electronic devices, locking our passports and valuables in the safe. This is typically a minor issue, I recall facing a similar situation a long time ago during one of my stays in Las Vegas, and my safe was unlocked within 30 minutes of calling concierge. In this case, the person on staff at night mentioned that he had no idea how to resolve this, stating that he had never faced or even considered this situation, which speaks to a lack of training. He promised me that this is something that can be resolved once the morning staff arrives at 7am. When the morning staff person arrived, she confessed that she was not always able to unlock the safe using the master key that they had, and asked me to wait until the 9am staff member arrives. Being stressed out at the possibility of missing my flight, and not being confident that the 9am staff member would be able to resolve my issue, I asked the same person to see if she can try unlocking it, even if she didn't quite know how. She bluntly and rudely refused, expressing no empathy to my stress or predicament, an attitude I have never faced at any hotel I have ever stayed at. She was completely ungracious, uncaring, and did not feel any urgency to resolve my problem, even after pleading with her, explaining that had my passport not been locked there, I would have forgone the electronics and cash, but I needed my passports to make my flight back to the US. After 9am came around, with the other staff member still missing, she begrudgingly agreed to go to my room, and messed with the lock, unlocking it just with enough time for me to get my passport and make it to my flight. She left without saying a kind word or offering a smile and seemed annoyed to be put out by my predicament. Overall, the hotel is ok. The WiFi is not reliable enough for me as a business traveler, but overall the place is an ok place to stay, provided that you do not need any out of the ordinary assistance from the staff.

This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Really you can walk anywhere from here. The service is amazing: the front desk held our luggage on our last day so we could sight-see before catching our plane. They even looked up where I could buy some of their delicious candies that at are in the lobby. The staff is super-helpful with tourist questions and the breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable! I recommend 100%!
